Designing a repository at the Kosáry Domokos Library andArchives of Szent István University, Gödöllő

Abstract

Higher education institutions are required today to preserve the intellectual property created as a result of teaching and research. They must present this knowledge in a systematic, digitized, easily retrievable form for the widest possible audience. The Kosáry Domokos Library and Archives of Szent István University also undertook to implement this noble mission. The article describes the design process of the Szent István Archive (SZIA) and the development tasks encountered, on the example of the PhD collection.
