The state of international standardization in the field of information-library activities

Abstract

The report on the ISO/TC 46 meeting (held from 2 to 8 May 1976 in Brussels) deals separately with the planning and co-ordinating problems that emerged in the frames of TC 46 and with the decisions made in Brussels in order to solve these problemes. A survey of the on-going works on international standard, as well as the resolutions on the further work is presented according to the subcommittees and working groups of TC 46.
